Gay Marriage – A Monument to Sexual Selfishness and Ignorance

To love and be loved while savoring the warmth and intimacy of a fruitful marriage is a beautiful thing, but exercising it selfishly and in a historically deviant manner without regard for the majority of Americans, the moral health of society, and the founding principles of our nation is absolutely wrong.

First, your selfishness leads you astray in your assessment of who opposes homosexuality. If it was just “old-timers” you would still be out-numbered, but the people of nearly 40 states have voted against gay marriage.

Next, your selfishness springs from an immoral mind & heart that leads you to truly think that the perverted gay life is OK. For you women in lesbianism it’s not too bad, but 2 males having anal sex is a quantum leap from anything beautiful or moral. Many in our society have rejected God and His moral principles; therefore, the proper standard to live by is lost and people just do what their lusts call them to do with no regard for what it will ultimately do to their soul or society around them. You are selling your eternal soul for short moments of deviant physical pleasure.

Third, your selfishness blinds you to the consequences to the overall health of society. Historically, civilizations like Rome, Babylon, & the Mayans have crumbled from within from immorality. If you want to love another woman in private, that is bad enough, but you have the freedom to do that. I do not oppose it. But to selfishly force the majority, who honor the centuries old tradition of proper M/F union & oppose unnatural & immoral gay marriage, to endure the shame of legal and public gay perversion, is highly selfish and totally wrong.

Finally, just because you and others in a small minority claim that same-sex marriage is OK, doesn’t make it OK. This is a country built on majority rule and a bill of rights based on God’s principles that specifically say homosexuality is sin, and our society, as well as the whole world, from the beginning of time, has always classified marriage as a M/F relationship only. Anything else must have a complete new name and set of rules for the institution. In addition, a same-sex union cannot have, and never will have equality with M/F marriage. The two are so vastly different, and you gays need to wise-up to that reality and find your special rights in some other way.
