You claim that providing marriage equality to same-sex couples is the right and moral thing to do. By what standard do you define morality? For over 5,000 years, God’s precepts have been the basis for morality in most civilizations. Therefore, what, is your source that provides a new definition of morality? The bible says that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. His truth and morality are timeless; there is no deviation from His wise guidelines for Man. Hence, your source is obviously not God; moreover, you likely will cringe at the thought of subscribing to God’s moral code. So, then, if your basis is not biblical precepts, what is? Is it your own selfish concept of right and wrong? Is it what the liberal media has been subversively spewing for the last 30 years? Is it what the wayward school and college system has been using for brainwashing? Whatever your source, it has shallow and untested roots in history subject to the whim of social capriciousness. It has not stood the test of time to prove its value or validity.
Furthermore, there are dark forces behind this new morality that are playing you like a helpless puppet. A new order is being built by any means possible. They use your ignorance and misguided zeal to assist in this process and once their goal is achieved, you will be discarded and destroyed because your perceived moral and equality cause is actually counter to the new age philosophy. Homosexuals and their supporters are hated by the new regime. They will be outlawed and killed to purge and cleanse society. That is the Communist method. That is what Islamic tyranny would do. The new order will be either a mutated new version of Communism or the Muslim oppression, or something even worse.
I realize that you likely will discount this as lunacy, but all the seeds of this revolution have been slowly sprouting in every area of our world for at least 50 years. Ayn Rand, in her magnificent and prophetic masterpiece, “Atlas Shrugged” grants us an ominous look at this future. She saw it coming in the ‘40’s; we are now dangerously near the new order.
Next you claim that government should embrace a fundamental concern for gay and lesbian residents. Why? Studies have shown that only 5 to 8 percent of the population is gay or lesbian. Why should that small minority’s deviancy from centuries of established morality be allowed to eclipse the concerns of the moral majority? Oh, yes, I forgot, it is because the new untested and mutated morality says so. Okay, well… then that must make it right. We will ignore the fact that the legal and social systems of any world-class civilization have been built on tried and true principles, not new ideas without established validity and long-term majority ratification. Let us just forge ahead with knee-jerk legislation enacted by unethical politicians cowed by the incessant intimidation and exhorbitant funding of gay rights scorched-earth crusaders. This may be how a lawmaker can win popularity, by disingenuously promoting an apparently ethical image of a brave new equality champion, but it is also how huge mistakes are made that diminish, or even remove specific freedoms altogether. The result is corrosion of the essential traditional moral fabric of our society and the slow elimination of citizens with intelligence, common sense, honor, and the valued ability to think for themselves. That scenario, as Ayn Rand exposed, is the key to the new regime’s take-over. America, wake up before it is too late.
